Gulf Warranties (GWIS) was established in KSA in 2015 under SAMA License No. 13/36102/ش/ت س م, as a joint venture between GWL Bahrain and Buruj Insurance & has currently has 2 offices in Riyadh & Jeddah. In 2019, Gulf Insurance Group proposed to buy out all GWL Bahrain shares in GWIS, which was approved by SAMA and completed in 2020. In 2025, Buruj Insurance entered into a strategic merger with MedGulf Insurance.
Gulf Warranties (GWIS) is a leading Third Party Administrator (TPA) licensed by the Saudi Arabia Monetary Agency (SAMA). GWIS’s license was renewed in 2019 for another 3 years and will be renewed in Feb 2022.
GWIS’s core ethos is to provide of quality Claims Management Services to its clients combined with a personalised customer oriented approach, delivered in a transparent manner with the provision of the tools and procedures to facilitate transparency and communication.
